Topic: Couldn't open port for device usbmodem12341

I was previously able to connect to my Solidoodle w/o a problem. Then I had hardware issues which required sending the printer back to SD (my fault).  Since I got it back I've connected a few times and printed a few items but today I cannot "connect" at all.

I've reinstalled Repetier-Host Mac, Solidoodle recommended drivers, etc but still not able to connect.  I've tried powering off, rebooting, plugging in devices in different orders, etc.  No joy.

I've tried to find answers here and elsewhere but nothing details a solution (which I've been able to find...)

A few months ago this was a non-issue.  Now I'm completely stymied (and I have a project due tomorrow.)

Suggestions?

I use windows 7 and could not get any action until tried port3 I don't know anything about how macs operate never had one, but i do know a little about windows and if there are any similarities between Mac And Windows try using different communication ports press apply and ok then restart your computer every time you try a different port, I don't know if this will help you or not.
