Topic: Extruder making contact

Hi!

I have a Solidoodle 3, ive been adjusting, and making quite good prints, altough, it seems the extruder is barley touching the previous layer when applying a new one, this isnt really problematic... UNTILL brides and overhang, it cant even bridge 10mm, because the layer wont anchor, it just curls up.

I HAVE Set The Z Offset correclty, first layer is perfect, and i can even though try to set it higher, same thing happens.

What to do?

Re: Extruder making contact

You need to calibrate extrusion. Perform the steps/mm calibration for the extruder. Then print a single wall cube to set your extrusion multiplier. All stuff found in the wiki, and on Solidoodles video help.

Extruder is calibrated, still does this.

Sometimes its lucky and can manage bridges, but not optimal yet.. hmm..
