What's your layer height in the settings?

what is the distant from your nozzle to the bed?

I was slightly able to reduce the effect.  The first layer Height was .3mm.  I lowered all of my presets to .2 for the first layer.  .1mm preset is still showing the effect (slightly less) although .3mm (which I am printing with now) does not show it in the slightest.

Re: A few rough layers in between smooth layers!

Reason for that is that you have to adjust your nozzle height based on your layer height.

Currently I assume you used a business card or such which has a thickness of around .011 thousands
depending on the business card.

.3mm layer height is about that

by printing at a lower layer height such as .1 or .2 you will need to adjust your layer height from
the nozzle lower, otherwise you risk scrapping the surface because you are over extruding.

There are settings in slicer that allows you to set the first layer height as a thicker layer height however
it's still not ideal aside from getting a good base.
