Topic: Don't vibrate to fill narrow gaps?
Whenever there's a gap less than the extrusion width, my print head will move very very slowly and vibrate rapidly. Is there a way I can tell the slicer to move the print head in the middle of the narrow gap and just extrude slowly at a constant rate to fill it rather than vibrate like crazy.
Here's a video illustrating what I mean.
Edit:
I just read this: http://www.soliforum.com/topic/2962/dis … p-filling/
but I'm still hoping there's a way to not vibrate like crazy and still fill the gap. I mean, it just seems like the slicer should be able to adjust the flow rate to dispense less plastic and move the print head down the middle of the gap. Why try to move back and forth so subtly that you can't even see the motor move. It's just an obnoxious noise and a slow fill. Maybe there's something I'm not accounting for.
