Topic: Printing Moving Parts help..

Hi all,
I'm trying to print this:
http://www.thingiverse.com/thing:44579

It's the cool little moving heart box.  My problem is the 45 angled gaps are bonding during print.  I first printed with the default stl settings which have a gap of .4  the main body would twist just fine forming the box, but the lids wouldn't open.  no amount of work with the exacto knife helped.  So then i used customizer and opened the gap up to .6.  Everything still came out good except the 45 angle gap.  Again, exacto didn't help.  I'm wondering if people have some suggestions on what settings to fiddle with to get this print to work for me?

I tightened the Y axis belts a little more as that is the direction the print head is mostly traveling in when it has to change directions for the 45.  I thought maybe I had a little too much over-run.  I'm on a SD3 and i'm running my head temp at 185.  I haven't changed any of the speeds from what the defaults were.  I thought maybe slowing the parameter speeds down may help.  The printer is calibrated very well as it relates to extrusion (set .42, get .42) and XY (nickle calibration part fits good, maybe .12 OOR tops)

Throw some ideas at me.  Would love to be able to print one of these things that work.

Oh, i dont have the fan mod.  And amazingly, i was able to get the top to print without using any support.

A couple of things:

1) These kinds of posts go in the "help" sub-forum.
2)  Have you tried adjusting your extrusion multiplier?
3) Adjusting belts is not a mere matter of "tightening" them. Watch the videos at wiki.solidoodle.com. This should get you up and running, though I admit I do not see a belt related problem here.
