Topic: Bed not heating up

Hi,

My bed is not heating up on my S2.
I've set the bed to heat up to 100 degrees Celcius but the bed stays at a constant temperature of 20 degrees.
I've left it to heat up for a long time now thinking it might be just a slow heat, but it hasn't moved.

I checked the wires at the back and everything seems to be connected just fine so I don't know what else it could be.
What could be the problem?

If this is the first time you have used the printer/software make sure you change the 'port' from 'virtual printer' in repetier.

You also may have to install the Arduino drivers manually, even though they're supposed to do that automatically.

If it's not the virtual printer gotcha, and everything else works but just not the bed heater, you can check resistance across the leads (unplug from the board and check there) with a multimeter.  If it's very high, the heating element may have failed.
