Topic: plastic will not come out of extruder

when i starting printing the soolidoodle 3 pushes out the plastic slowly out of where you feed it. it looks like the extruder is motor is reversing to much. when i manual click extrude plastic comes out fine its just when i start to print. i have messed with the extrude and retract in mm but i still have the same issue. thanks

check the solidoodle wiki, a couple of things come to mind
1.  check the screw knob at the top of the extruder and make sure it is not too tight.
2.  is the bed hot enough for the filament to stick.  I tend to use mine at 100/105C.
3.  check your extrusion multiplier.  most of the forums say .87 is about right.
4.  make sure the bed is level.

Can you post up a screenshot of your slicer settings with respect to the retraction and filament settings?
