Topic: Solidoodle Crashing past Axis

I have had my printer for 2 days but have not been able to have one successful print because my solidoodle keeps trying to print off the front of the bed. I make sure I have pressed the home button before i start a print, that the object has been centered, and I followed instructions online on what settings my printer should be at.
Help!

Re: Solidoodle Crashing past Axis

What software are you using to print?  If it's Repetier-Host there is a "Printer Settings" tab that should have within in that a "Printer Shape" tab.  What does that dialog box look like?

Re: Solidoodle Crashing past Axis

If you have a Solidoodle 3 then those numbers are wrong.  Add 50 to each of them, leaving height at around 194 (I believe).

Re: Solidoodle Crashing past Axis

I would do a test by homing all then inching the manual controls up to the spot where the stepper stalls(look at the number on screen)and then lower the axis area number to that minus 1-2, because of the tolerances of how the SD homes sometimes it only takes a milimeter or two to be too far off in one direction to cause problems.
