Just received a status update from John that my SD3 should be shipping in next 2-4 weeks

Date Ordered: 11/18/12
Maybe I will get it before my next birthday... but no longer betting on it. #5840. What did you do to get status updates? I have heard nothing.
Little bit confusing .....but seems they are getting some shipments out.

Just looked in my Solidoodle Store account: my printer shipped some days ago and the email notification went straight so the spam folder.

According to USPS it's already at the customs office in Vienna (Austria). Time to order some filament i guess!

Aye, the more of those we send out, the more get sent to spam folders. Mail servers are very sensitive to e-mails from senders who send out lots of mail. That's why our mass e-mails directly from [email protected] were failing, and we had to adopt constant contact ( that should have been an obvious choice, I know)

While you are reading this: a separate invoice for the customs agents and correct USD value of the goods on the USPS form (in contents) would help speed customs processing along. Had to send in the order information and proof of payment from VISA myself.

Personally, I perfer all my sea food comes from salt water.. ehhehe
This week I am in Texarkana, next week Portland, week after Southbend, etc.. etc.. it seems I missed my short window to do much with my printer even if it does ever arrive. But the project will end some day, and maybe then I will have a new "toy" to get familiar with. It has been a very long time coming.

The specific reason was intending for the utmost quality in the SD3 before sending it out. We decided to test the machine further instead of sending it out sooner. Concerning your order, the best estimate I can give is that shipment begins today for the SD3.
I hope that helps, please reach back if you have further questions.

Brett, that is hopefully some good news. I hope they do start shipping today as I should be up at the top of the list with order 5833 
I wish they would announce that on SD website, sure would make us folks waiting a bit happier. As I said before not all customers may come to the forum.

and I don't see anyone cheering that their sd3 shipped today.. mine didnt, or at least according to the web site, and I am 5840, another early orderer.
