Topic: Solidoodle won't respond

I tried to print a second consecutive print today and my SD2 won't respond. Printer is connected, bed and extruder are hot, just won't respond to print command. I have a good feeling it is a glitch in repetier. Is there a way to "reset" repetier without having to uninstall. If the Ardruino drivers get uninstalled I am not smart enough to get them reinstalled without the initial printer hookup install (been there). I also know there is a reset switch on SD, but what is the protocol for a "soft" reset if that is the problem with Ardruino?

Re: Solidoodle won't respond

The arduino is reset everytime you insert or remove the USB cable - I do that often if its been sitting for several hours...

Repetier is again a case of close it and open it. I recall one occasion I had to reboot my entire PC as the serial port had locked up.. but other than that, open and close..

If neither of the above issues resolve the problem, then its something more than what a 'simple reset' will fix.

Yeah, I disconnected power from everything, multiple restarts also. I have had a few instances where after sitting overnight it gets going again. Guess I will setup my other computer and see if its Ardruino or Repetier.
