Topic: I want to upgrade my heated bed... Which one to get?

Hi I have a solidoodle 3 which I have been struggling with and decided to upgrade the heated bed, I know I have seen them talked about in forum posts over the last month, but i've spent ages using the search facility and still can't find the posts I am looking for.

Question 1, which one and where can I buy a new heated bed that heats up quicker the. Te provided one?

Question 2, I want a hot end which can heat up hotter then the current provided one... I've seen something about on better peeks, and hotends but again i can't find the post I saw it in. Could you recommend a replacement hot end / peek that will reach temperatures of 250c?

I build my own... roll of nichrome wire is cheap.
q2. 250c... why! that will melt away everything unless you have an all metal hotend.  what material are you trying to extrude?

Thanks for your reply, formfortura filament range is 235 to 250c i'm struggling at the lower end to get a good melt.
