Topic: Do my own headed bed or not?

I'm trying to decide if I want to get a Solidoodle 2 without the headed bed and then do the upgrade posted on these forums.

Has anyone done the upgrade?  Is it worth the extra effort? What problems did you hit after you were done?  What did you really like about it (e.g. does it really heat up a lot faster or help with ABS adhesion?)
