Topic: Slicer skipping large Z segments...:\

I've got an odd issue, that will be more fully explained in pictures.

First up:  Using Repetier-Host v0.82b.  Using Slicer 0.9.7.  Slicing at 0.3mm

I'm modelling the four primary F-Zero race cars from the SNES video game.

The first two (Blue Falcon, Fire Stingray) were fine.  As I'm doing Golden Fox, I've run into this weird issue where Slicer will stop slicing at a certain Z-height, leaving a huge gap (see pictures).  Slicer doesn't complain about any holes, and 3DSMax STLCheck reports no errors.

Here is where it gets weird.  If I plate Golden Fox with my previous two models (or even one), it slices fine.  :\

Any ideas what is going on here?

(PlatedSliced.png is the correct slicing - it's hard to see with all the light blue lines, but you can clearly see the cockpit got sliced correctly in this one).

Can you post the .stl file? It looks like it may have some inverted triangles or a hole in the mesh. The only time I have gotten incomplete slices is when that happens...

Try opening it in netfab...

Light blue lines are extruder travel lines... you may want to disable that with "Disable Travel" on the main toolbar... much cleaner viewing that way.
