Why are my prints doing this?

If you look at the gcode preview, does it show a lot of travel moves back and forth across the middle?  Try boosting the retraction speed or distance.  Also look at using KISSlicer, it probably won't cross the perimeters as much, dragging oozing plastic around outside the print.
