Hi,

I put the e3d v6 clone into my da Vinci 2.0A Duo.
It's seems to work fine.

A little...
But it fit perfectly and can be used with original firmware and software.
All features work except crappy XYZ levelling.
Adding the levelling pin is possible and it will take a few minutes. But what for?
Bed levelling with feeler is the best method for this printer imo.

If you install XYZware trainer
  http://www.soliforum.com/topic/16988/xyzware-trainer/
It is possible to use different nozzle diameter with XYZware.

Do you think it is possible to cut the fin shorter and leave the heat block untouched? That can save a lots of cutting if possible.

Hi,

I am not sure if I understood you correctly.
I think that removing more fins from hot side of heat sink is not a good idea.

But in my solution the heater block is untouched.
I machined only  the original XYZ heat sink and the E3D V6 heat sink.

If you are looking for simpler solution you can look into "E3D DUO Hotend.pdf", maybe it will work.
