Topic: Cavities being filled when printing.
Hi,
I am trying to print a bowl with a handle in my XYZ Printing Da Vinci Jr 1.0.
The CAD mode in IGS, seems to be of good quality, with a large cavity in the middle (being a bowl, that is), also with holes and cavities as should be in the handle of the bowl for hanging the finished bowl.
The model is imported with some warning for having to be repaired, which I acknowledge and let the XYZware to, in to the program seeming to be a correct CAD model still.
Then when making an attempt to print this model, the software calculates and slices and in the process fills all the cavities, making the bowl rather useless.
Why?
And how to overcome this feature of the program?
Any ideas please... :-)
The uploaded file showing the bowl up side down with the cavity facing downwards.
