Topic: Auger bit and motor socket do not align.

We are having problem in the assembly of Filastruder V 2.1. The problem raised with the alignment of auger bit is not going straight into the motor socket. This occurs due to aluminum chassis auger hole is not in the straight position to the motor socket, it deviates  from the exact position.

I would like to request a replacement for that. Also, two 1/4" washers are missing.

Can you flip the top plate 180 degees ??

mine was the same way, I just placed washers behind the flange to make the shaft perpendicular to the housing. seems to work great for me.

The more I looked at your pics I realized that the alum. housing was machined wrong. you'll need to get that replaced, no amount of washers would even come close. lol

I see now it is made in one piece from an extrusion .Yes  he need to replace the part. The OP knows this as he requested a replacement as well as a couple of washers.

Yup, machining error as the machining is done in two operations. Contact us through the Filastruder website's contact form and we'll arrange a replacement.
