Topic: Repetier Host Z problem

This is a new one to me.  I can get the printer to Home, and the bed moves up and down (so the Z steppers are working correctly), but when I try to manually move the bed down (using the Z arrows on the Manual tab), the bed does not move (using either set of Z arrows).  Anyone see this before?

Try lowering it by twisting the rod to get it away from the endstop and test some more, keeping an eye on what it says the Z coordinates are.   That kind of behavior is usually related to endstops. If it is getting triggered, it will be updating the Z position to 0. However that usually causes it to only move away from the endstop rather than toward.

I have hit the down arrows after homing and nothing happens... then I realize I need to hit the up arrows to move the bed down(print head up) but if you are trying both set of arrows... that's strange, have you restarted RH and tried again?
