Topic: How to use USBTinyISP to flash new bootloader to atmega644p?

I'm going to borrow a USBTinyISP and connect it straight to the 6-pin ISP thingy on the sanguinololu that shipped with my SD2.  Is it pure fantasy that I will be able to flash a bootloader this way and then flash firmware (via USB)?

For some reason all tutorials I see are for making some kind of ugly breadboard circuit, and I only get hints about the fact that you can just plug the USBTinyISP into the sanguinololu.

Thoughts and guidance welcome.

Edit: What about the alternative solution of buying this: http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Geeetech-Sang … 2094672562

SD2 Sanguinololu 1.3a atmega1284p, wood platform, lawsy's carriages, braided fishing line, pallet wood overhead spool mount, carboard/magnet enclosure, glass bed, E3D v6, bed levelling knobs, extended z-stop, 25A DC-DC SSR for bed heater, everything fixed to the SD2 frame, marlin firmware with some adjustments and extra failsafes enabled.  I'll never give up on you, little printer that could(n't)!
