Topic: Da Vinci Jr - filament stuck around print head
We just got the Da Vinci Jr and decided to try printing the sample design after setting everything up. This is our first 3D printing experience so weren't really sure what to expect. After a few minutes, we realized it was not doing what it was supposed to do so we cancelled the print. But by then, the printout had become a big blop that completely covered the print head. I was able to cut off the part just below the print head but now there's a bunch of it surrounding the print head (not covering the opening but above that). I can get a picture if I'm not being clear.
My question is: How can we get this off? It's hardened, of course. Can we heat it somehow? I am not really sure what to do at this point and can't seem to Google the right thing to come up with an answer.
