Topic: Top open censor?

I would like to use my 3rd party filament with my 2.0. When I keep the top open it says "Top Door Open". How can I trick this?

Just stick a piece of paper in it. It uses the same sensor through the machine. It is located in the right back of the door seal.

Printing since 2009 and still love it!

If you have flashed it to repetier you can also turn off the sensor

Many thanks guys. I tossed a piece of paper in the back and thats cool. I really don't want to flash as of yet because its still new and under warranty. Although I do wish I could just go back to 2.0J.
