Topic: Prints not sticking to raft.

I have had some nice prints using PET+. I wanted to reprint my Robotica possible figure in Ruby and paint her this time. I use a raft with glue as this material sticks to glass so aggressively that it removed some of the glass last time I tried to remove a large object.

So back to my problem. The specs on the material say to print on a 70c bed and a nozzle temp of 240 to 260c. My bed is 30 cooler than reported so I am running it at 100. I am printing at 265c actually as I got great results with the yellow. However with this ruby even at 265 the raft sticks nicely to the bed but the actual print does not stick to the raft and breaks loose after about 30 layers or so. I have noticed my reported temp on my nozzle seems to be lower than reported based on how PLA prints.

So I have raised the temp some and I will see if this improves it. Just curious if anyone had any input.. Running PID is out of the question as the machine runs on a mightyboard. It has thermocouples and it also will not take gcode commands. All commands sent to a mightyboard are sent as binary form as a W3G file that cannot be read by any software other than text editors and it is just gibberish.

Just wanted to see if anyone else has had such and issue and what you did to resolve it.

I normally don't use rafts but some of these parts have a very small foot print and the raft improves their adhesion I think.

Printing since 2009 and still love it!
