I'm running a 1.1 plus with the built in screen so don't really want to flash.. so thinking of another way to get the gcode across.. The plugin would poll the printer every few seconds to get the temps etc and I was hoping a simple button would send the gcode across. (with included header and encoded)
I've only started playing but if you open up a serial communication port say using the arduino interface and send the following command it replies back with...

This contains current bed temp / extruder temp / serial / model.. etc..
I'm running a serial port sniffer to get the info so it shouldn't be hard to reproduce the correct info just to send a file over I'm hoping....
Also, it seems to send it gcode rather than encoding it.. ie
