The plugin would poll the printer every few seconds to get the temps etc and I was hoping a simple button would send the gcode across. (with included header and encoded)

I've only started playing but if you open up a serial communication port say using the arduino interface and send the following command it replies back with...

This contains current bed temp / extruder temp / serial / model.. etc..

I'm running a serial port sniffer to get the info so it shouldn't be hard to reproduce the correct info just to send a file over I'm hoping....

Also, it seems to send it gcode rather than encoding it.. ie

You flash to repetier firmware for such ability the stock firmware uses a different protocol for communication which is why only XYZware works with it.
