Topic: SD2 - Print Issues
It's been a while since I have done any 3D printing, so decided to get back into it. My SD2 has had a lot of modifications along the way.
Custom Z Lead Screw (0.1mm pitch)
New PSU
Custom Heatbed
Glass Bed
Lawsy's carriages
Various Bearing mods
E3D Extruder V5 (0.4mm nozzle)
DRV8825 Stepper driver for the Extruder
Now I was having issues with prints, and searched around the forums and found some people had issues after converting over to the E3D head, that the standard A4988 controller for the Extruder wasn't really up the task. So have just recently got and installed the DRV8825 for the Extruder. Recalibrated the Extruder steps per mm.
But I'm still getting issues with my prints:
Here are a couple of pictures:
A 40x10 single wall test print:

a 20x20x10mm cuboid:

As you can see, it's pretty good. But after a few layers get a weird overextruded layer.
I am using Repetier Host V1.5.3
These are my settings:

Any help would be greatly appreciated.
