I've still not found a solution for Purge-run problem,

I found an older version of version 3.7 that Fixed the Purge-run problem, 3.7.0.95
you could just go into the gcode and just shorten the distance for that move.
you could just go into the gcode and just shorten the distance for that move.
The problem was that No 'Setting' changes would shorten the Purge pass,
when using that version of Makerbot software
There should be a setting blank for it and it should change automatically
when the bed-size changes, for different printer models, and it did Not.
Many 3D printer users do Not want to have to edit programming Code,
I personally don't mind changing G-code, if I can find Info about What and Where to Change,
I don't like having to Guess at G-code commands and values.
I still have Not found the command that changes the Purge-run length,
in the .json files created by Makerbot software ???
( It's a Text file , not a real G-code file like is used in Replicator-G )
.json text files just show the values, not the G-codes
BTW: Anyone happen to know of a website where we can download a good list
of all .json Commands and value options , for the CTC (Makerbot) ?
I suppose different printer 'Makes' & 'Models' have slightly different List, correct ?
I am now fairly Sure that there is No way to change the Purge-run Length,
even in the .json files. ![]()
that length is set by the size of the Bed of each Makerbot Model.
(there was just a glitch error in that software version,
length did Not change when you change bed size, with model selection menu)
