Topic: How to change z home position away from glass bed

Hi I am using repetier host and repetier firmware.  right now my home z axis position is where it touches the glass bed of my smartone 200 printer.  How would I change the home position to be maybe 30mm or more away from the bed glass then come down to the correct height when it starts to print?

Why would you want to do that? As long as the head is starting at the correct height that is all that matters.

Because after it finishes a print, the head comes back to home position touching the glass and will smash my print

Soo have it park after a print and set up your park position as you like.

well you can add it to end g code I suppose I just went to the repetier printer settings , go to the printer page about half way down is the park position   settings just plug in the numbers and make sure you check park after print kill.
