Topic: Davinci junior - please problem with nozzle height and noise feeder

Please can someone help I am new to 3d printing and to this forum ive just bought my first printer a davinci jnr I am very pleased with the machine looks and quality but I am having problems all=though ive watched the seeting up vids and read all the instructions but still pulling my hair out.
First of all ive loaded the filament per instruction but I keep getting a knocking noise when feeding the filament but not all the time probably every 3 seconds or so.
Also the first print when I selected the sample print it ripped the tape up so I looked this up to find that the nozzle may need setting up I checked with z axis mode and it said it was on 1.4mm so kept lifting and trying it currently set at 2.0mm but the print is carp to say the least but I unsure if its down to the jerky feed of filament or to the set of the z axis ive cleaned the nozzle incase it was that I am getting fedup not a very good first experience please help .

I am assuming the Jr. Is just a smaller version of the 1.0. Look in the XYZ are of this forum and follow the bed leveling procedure in the sticky. It should solve your issue. The clicking is the filament jamming due to your nozzle being too close to the bed and the filament has no place to go.
