Topic: rippling in prints on SD2 after upgrading the extruder

Greetings,

So I have had my SD2 since they were first released..  I had it sitting in a box for about a year and recently started using it again.  I was very happy with the results, I had it dialed in pretty well.  Within a month the extruder broke so I decided to upgrade to the e3D-v6 and upgrade the power supply.  So I did the upgrade and I am up and printing again but....

I am seeing an odd rippling in my prints...  Can anyone identify the cause?  All slic3r settings are the same except the temp which I increased from 190 to 230.

The first image is the original extruder before I upgraded.  The second image is with my new E3d v6.

Any help or ideas would be appreciated.
