Topic: Printing bed doesn't stop when going up and grinds into belt/nozzle

My AiO printer is at 300 hours and has been printing well the entire time.  Recently, when starting a new print, the bed started to go up, but never stopped at the top and just smashed into the belt and nozzle.  It eventually gives a 0030 error.  I've tried turning the printer off and on, but it immediately starts doing the same thing with a horrible grinding noise, and I can't get the bed to lower.  Has anyone experienced this or know how to stop it?

Thanks,

Dan

Hmm, check the end-stop for the Z axis, check that nothing is covering it, and make sure that little piece that sticks out from the top of the whole Z mount it actually in line with the end-stop sensor.
If you don't know what I'm talking about, just ask and I'll upload some pictures.

Yes, please, any pictures you have would help a lot.  Also, do you know how to get the bed to lower when I turn it on?  It just grinds away.  I tried to lower it by hand but it's pretty jammed up there.  Thanks for the help!
