Topic: calibrating correct coordinates for virtual build table in simplify 3d

I am running rep .092 and I have the most difficulty printing large objects because I can't get them to align in the center of the bed. My live preview shows the object in the center of the bed but when I print the object is not aligned correctly and sometimes the extruder extrudes off the bed. I've tried gcode offsets but I think some objects its different based on the pivot point. Is there a setting I am missing somewhere in simplify 3d to set up bed corner coordinates?

Bed center is based on bed size. But the Da Vinci bed actually has a virtual size. The virtual size is measured from the nozzle at home to the front right corner of the bed. Then from the nozzle while home to left back corner of the bed. The reason your are offset right now is that you have not accounted for this virtual bed size while the firmware does and start from the virtual center.

The draw back is this will make your bed larger in preview mode than it really is but just remember not to print anything greater than 200mm across and it should center with no overhang.

Printing since 2009 and still love it!

Thanks Carl. So I just need to adjust the build size then?
