Need to specify what ABS you are using (manufacturer, color, etc). The optimal setting for my spools vary from 195C to 240C.
right now im using the standard filament that the Da Vinci came with and after thats done I will use Hatchbox white filament
I would really advise against using white in any brand. I have never been able to get white to print well regardless of brand. The pigment that is used just makes the temperature and speed requirements very hard to dial in.
really?, because when I print out in white it turns out pretty decently to me, the color is more of a cream white when printed for me, unless that isn't what is supposed to be. But im' using white so I can paint it easily

Try printing with natural if you think white looks good. Natural should blow you away. It to can be painted. Oh and white should come out white. if it is coming out darker then you are cooking it with too much heat. The stock stuff that you get in cartridges should not be printed at higher than 190. It is not the typical formulation and they had it specially made to print at lower temps than normal.
oh okay so what do you recommend that I print at using the Hatchbox filament?
220-230C extruder, 90C bed Davinci 1.0
220-230C extruder, 70C bed Davinci Duo
I've been running 210 and 90. Fine for me.
I have been printed esun stuff at 215 and I think it is ok, what are the signs saying it is not hot enough?
I agree my white never looks as good as my colours printed at same temps
I am still tweaking my settings, but I am printing ABS white, can't remember from where at the moment.
Extruder is at 230, bed at 130

From what I see of your signature you are not using Da Vinci. The Da Vinci bed cant get to that temp and if it did the plastic frame would be damaged. Honestly I have never heard of a bed temp of more than 110 for any material.

Yes, true. I'm not using Davinci. Your title wasn't specific to Davinci, and I didn't notice you had specified a brand in your post until now. I wasn't meaning to derail the topic
still getting used to the forums, and I see that there is a forum specific for printer brands. Sorry ![]()

I figured as much, no biggie. Just was saying as a general statement that Da Vinci could not reach that temp to avoid confusion. I thoughy maybe you had a Da Vinci and was just ashamed to admit it.
