Topic: What should I do?

My Solidoodle Press's Z axis went out, and I found out it was the board. I hooked it up to the same type of stepper motor that I had laying around and it didn't work. I plugged it into the Y axis and it worked. So the board's Z axis pins aren't working. I bought this printer from eBay, so I don't think that Solidoodle Support won't send me a new motherboard. I was thinking just to buy a Printrboard rev F. What do you think I should do? Either talk to Support or buy a Printrboard? Thanks guys! smile

Thanks,

Re: What should I do?

Probably shouldn't buy a Printrboard. I recommend the sanguinololu, ramps 1.4 and rumba.

The printrboard has integrated stepper drivers too. Wouldn't it be nice if this issue cost you $10 and not $100 in the future?
