Topic: Rough print and gap in wall

Trying to figure out 2 issues which maybe related. 1) why is that first layer so rough in certain areas. Some areas look perfect others look like crap. 2) why is there a gap in that back wall? (see pictures).

I'm printing with PLA.

If anyone knows or has advice that would be great.

I can see several problems but first I believe something is messing with your flow.  It could be bad filament or something simple like the filament tugging on the extruder.  On that first layer issue that might be as simple as the nozzle being too close to the bed.  Or you could be dealing with a partial clog or a dirty drive gear.  One thing is for certain, you have a lot of moire and should consider adjusting the  VREF for the extruder.
