Topic: Tried updating firmware, it isn't uploading

Hello everyone,

I tried to flash the firmware with the hysteresis fix, downloaded it here and followed instructions.
https://github.com/ozadr1an/Solidoodle- … in_v1_beta

I'm getting this error "avrdude: stk500_getsync(): not in sync: resp=0x00" after trying to upload it in Arduino 1.0.5, now the 3d printer connects to the slicer but doesn't react to any instructions. I've a Solidoodle 3.

Make sure you have the correct board chosen in configuration.h.
Also in Arduino under tools you need to select the correct board.  If it isn't in the drop down under "board" then you need to locate that hardware folder and move it to the correct location.

Printit Industries Model 8.10 fully enclosed CoreXY, Chamber heat
3-SD3's & a Workbench all fully enclosed, RH-Slic3r Win7pro, E3D V6, Volcano & Cyclops Hot End
SSR/500W AC Heated Glass Bed, Linear bearings on SS rods. Direct Drive Y-axis, BulldogXL
Thanks to all for your contributions

How can I make double check my board? I'm using the one according with the instructions. "Sanguino W/ ATmega644P"

That's a printerboard follow the printerboard instructions on the WIKI.

Any other way? When I'm at the last steps I get a message from the command prompt that the BootloaderHId is not recognized as an internal or external command.

No other way and I know it looks daunting but really isn't that bad.  I have done it many times as have many other users.  Should only take a first timer an hour and after that it's about a 10 minute thing.  Good luck smile

Computer doesn't seem to be recognizing the board after booting.

Are you sure you have the correct com port selected in RH.
you'll also want to make sure "auto reset on connect" is disabled in RH.
