Is it all in ABS ?
It is. I haven't run PLA because of all the issues I keep reading that other people experience.
The pieces are smoothed down with ABS, aren't they? Also, did you use the stock extruder? any additional cooling?
I used an acetone vapor bath (cold process).
Stock extruder with my optical sensor blocked. No additional cooling.
Other than a few tweaks, my machine is stock. I use a cartridge resetter now so I can run spools.
What res did you print in?
.2 layer height with 2 shells and 25% infill. Sliced with Simplfy3d.
That is super impressive and extremely colorful! What spools did you use besides xyz filament?
Thank you. I have some BuMat (clear), Inland (black and grey) and Toner Plastics (silver).
All three brands printed just fine, I found the BuMat a little brittle though.
