Topic: Z axis keeps moving upward even when it hits the extruders

I have installed all the drivers, changed settings but every time I attempt to print the z axis rises to the nozzle and then continues to rise, I have to immediately shut it down to avoid damage. Someone please help.

So your endstop isn't working, take a look at the switch and make sure it is being triggered.
Also follow the wires to the board and make sure they are connected properly.

It would help if you provided more info such as what printer do you have?

I have a workbench. I traced the wires and they are all connected.

So the z endstop switch is the same switch for the auto bed leveling.  Is that arm flipping down as it should?
