Topic: MICRO SD instead of SDHC, adapter cable with Flashair II

My new DaVinci 1.0 has the  laterr board with a "bonded" MICRO SD card, has anyone used a Micro SD to SDHC extension/adapter cable and then a Flashair-II   ?

I'm guessing it will work, but could not find a post about it.

Very few of us have the new board. Most of  us here now all bought the older models. Yes the extension works with the older models that use a standard SD card. So it should work with the micro as well.

I just ordered my microsd extension cable. As soon it arrives I'll tell you it works with my trascent wifi sd.

Btw I did read somewhere that nail polish remover could be use to "unbond/unglue" stuff. Could it work with this?

That green glue is very brittle. It main purpose is just to keep the card from coming out during shipping.  Just use an exacto knife and pick at it on the metal area and it should flake right off. The nail remover is acetone and it might damage the housing on the card.

I can personally vouch for the microSD to SD extension cables used in conjunction with the FlashAir II. I have been using it successfully since December on the AIO 1.0, which uses the same MB/controller card as the newer v1.0A and 2.0A duos.
