Topic: Recommended Tools

I have been thinking about putting a Tool kit together but not sure what I would need?

Any suggestions?

Re: Recommended Tools

One of the first things I got was a quality, metal scraper. The included plastic one was sheer junk.

Re: Recommended Tools

I find a good pair of needle nose pliers are a must. They can be used for many things. Also a quality THIN metal scraper and some exacto knives.

Re: Recommended Tools

I've found a dental pick kit and a welder's pin vise drill to be very useful for both cleaning up printed pieces and the printer.

Apologies for hijacking the thread.

@ team3; I was wondering how well your painter's tape works for you.

This is the first instance I've seen of someone who uses it with the Da Vinci.

I wanted to experiment with it myself but haven't got around to it because the UHU has been good enough so far.

Re: Recommended Tools

Awesome! Thanks. I'll give it a go shortly then.

@ L.woinson95; I guess you could consider the tape part of the toolkit anyway big_smile

Re: Recommended Tools

I have yet to see anybody list the Torx driver that virtually every screw on this thing requires. It's needed even for belt tensioning. It's a T10 for those whom may not know.
