Topic: Solidoodle Workbench Printbed Doesn't Go Up or Down

Hello, so we finally got our Solidoodle Workbench at my non-profit museum and everything is working, but the filament just gets dragged all over the place and what prints out looks like a spool of string my cat got--but I did the forum idea on how to fix that.

However, the one thing I am noticing is the print bed wont go up or down unless I manually do it by moving the large screw by hand.  Inside Repetier and click on the Z to move it down or up nothing happens.  I am totally new to 3-D printing and I am about two seconds from shipping it back and going with someone else.

Please HELP!

First thing that I would do is to look for a loose or disconnected wire on the main board. It may be a  problem with the power connector or the limit switch.I assuming that you can move the X /Y from within RH? Since you just got it , it may have come loose during shipping.

I just tried moving x and y from manual control as well and nothing.  It shows the numbers be added or subtracted for coords; but doesn't actually move.

And I assume the main board is the wires behind the clear plexi-glass door?

Satman49--thank you so much; once I got in there I saw that x & y were both loose and z was connected at all.  And another F wire was also off the plug.
