Topic: PLA replacement pipe ?

So, since I have the hot end dissasmbled on the Davinci 1.0, is there a way to replace the stock "neck" pipe with a Teflon insulated one so I can use PLA and avoid the heat creep issue ?

That would definitely improve the heat creep, you could also try moving the extruder cooling fan lower so it would improve as a hotend cooler and would decrease the chance of PLA expanding too much.  Jump over to http://www.soliforum.com/topic/10105/he … -filament/ where we already have some info.  You could also try adding an EXTRA fan to the mount, but I'm not sure if you have stock or modded firmware or have the resources.
