Topic: Layer issue

Right guys used the Hobbyking Esun filament to print this using the following settings:

Layer Height - 0.3
Density - 10%
Speed - Normal

But some areas seem to of 'split' I have attached the images of it to show what I mean...

Any help would be grateful thank you

Re: Layer issue

Raise your nozzle temp by 5 to 10 degrees. That looks like a poor bond issue. Since the infill is ow and the part is small it should be more bond then uneven cooling which can also cause splitting.

Printing since 2009 and still love it!

That figure is 120mm tall? I printed a small one off and no issues

Will try turning the temp up and re print

Sorry it looked small in the pics.. But if it is that tall that could be the issue. You need to up your temp to 235 and the bed should be 110.

Re: Layer issue

I turned the temp up and printed a smaller charmander out (attached) would this look like I had the temp too high for it?

I then printed a compressor off and it looks fine?

Also how do you activate supports on Slic3r?

Thanks
