Topic: Appropriate connectors?

I'm looking at replacing my heater and thermistor, as well as my fans and a few other items.

What are the pin connectors that are used to connect these to the motherboard?

I've ordered the red connectors for the hot end connectors (and bought the blue as well, but lost those someplace :-) but I'd like to be able to do the same with the others.

Thanks

Scott

Re: Appropriate connectors?

I think they're some flavor of molex but can't say for sure.

Where did you end up getting the red and blue connectors?

Re: Appropriate connectors?

I got them from digikey. there was a link in the E3D instructions on the wiki. I think I got 20 of the blue and red female (40 total) for about 8 bucks.

I still haven't figured out the ones on the pcb though. they aren't molex, those are huge.

Mouser is also a big electronics supply
here is their molex connector page.

Re: Appropriate connectors?

I'm 99% sure they aren't molex though.

Maybe I'm thinking of something different - can you take a picture of what you're talking about?

At DigiKey, they're part #s A99621-ND and A31080-ND.

Re: Appropriate connectors?

Those are for the inline connections. I have a wack of those.

The connectors I mean are the ones that are on the 'motherboard' for the X, Y, Z motors and such.
