Topic: SD3 Heatbed connector

Just recently took my SD3 out of storage and was super impressed because it printed a 7.5"x 6.5" part on the first try.

Then today I tried it again and part way through I notice a bad smell and  my bed temp dropping. The connector had a melt down, and the terminal is pretty crispy.

Does anyone know the generic part numbers for replacements?

It would help if you told us exactly what part you are trying to replace.  Did it burn the wiring or the heater itself?  Pictures?

Solidoodle sells parts, but I have heard they are taking several weeks or months currently because they are getting crushed by support tickets for their newer machines.  If it is a generic electrical connector, you will likely get it better, faster and cheaper by ordering it anywhere but solidoodle.com.
