Topic: bed temp reading 290

bed temp is reading 290 whether the thermistor is plugged in or not. was working fine before until now. need help fast because i have a deadline in one week for a school project.

So you have a bad connection somewhere or your thermistor is shot.

Have you checked the resistance at the plug?

With power off use a multimeter at the plug put it in resistance mode by selecting the omega symbol. If you don't have a multimeter it is worth the purchase they are useful for so many things

Were you able to resolve this problem? My Workbench has the same issue.

How would I find out the expected resistance, and if what I measure isn't right, is the replacement part - the thermister specifications - I need published anywhere?

I contacted Solidoodle support days ago about this, but have not gotten a response.

I sent the printer back and they are sending me a new one

I'm curious - How long did it take them to respond to support requests and issue you RMA and shipping instructions?
