Topic: Da Vinci 1.0 - How to package for a return (for a new one)

Quick question. So I have until 1/31/15 to return the printer per Amazon. I am having just enough issues that I think I want to swap it out for a (hopefully) better working unit. The packaging had two heavy duty plastic straps that needed to be cut in order to open the box. My question is how will I send this one back as I don't have access to the plastic straps. How have others packed it to send it back?

Thanks in advance for any advice.

Put all packing material aside
Place the bottom platform on the floor
Place the bottomless box (you'll have to move and tuck some) on the platform with the platform's flaps to the inside as was originally
Place all the bottom packing material
Place the printer
Place all the top and sides packing material
Place the part holding cardboard and parts
Fold up the top flaps and tape the heck out of the seams
Gently roll the box over (careful to not let the bottom platform free) on it's top
Tape the heck out of the edges and corners
Roll the box back on it's bottom and you are ready to go
I have done this twice and they both made the journey back just fine

That's what I was looking for!! Thanks team3!
