what is the best temp to set for your Heated Aluminum Build Platform with Glass Bed 100? or less and what glue are all using ?

For ABS 105-110
For PLA 60

printers may very depending on many things like sensor accuracy etc

Solidoodle 2 with Deluxe kit cover & glass bed with heater. and 2nd board SD2 used not 3rd and alum platform not installed yet still wood. also need cooling fan installed to board. use Repetier Host couple vers. Slic3r also have all free ware STL programs

I made a polycarbonate case for my sd2 and I usually set the bed to 80-90 C for ABS and around 50-60 for PLA. I also use UHU stic which is a glue stick that users on other forums touted and has worked extremely well for me. You should also level the z when the bed is up to temp because the offset will change slightly.

i turned mine down for 215 to 205 and the eat plat for 100 to 90 and i found that Elmer's Craft Bond Extra Strength works good I went to walmart and got like 10 diff glue sticks to test

If using a glue stick, I lay down a liberal coat on the surface then wipe with a damp paper towel to coat evenly and remove uneven areas.

Which is a good point for everyone.  I do 100 for ABS and 50 for PLA but my setting doen't always work for my son who has the exact same printer.

I have to run mine at 80 for ABS to keep it stuck without warping

i like running my abs on 70 c with a glass bed. for PLA i just drop it to 50 C or less at times
