I want to use PLA, maybe some of the wood filament, ninjaflex, or even the metal infused filaments. If it is not compatible is their something that I can modify/replace to make it compatible.
thanks
If yours is a 1.0 it would need the updated head once it is released. If you have a 1.0A then you can use PLA but not flexible filament as the gap between the gears and the feed tub is too wide and the filament will bend.
I would advise against wood. I tried some and lost two nozzles because of it. The particles of wood are not consistent and they will clog your nozzle.
If you want true flexibility then you would need to change the head to a full after market design and run Repetier firmware and host..
