Topic: Printed blob
I don't have pictures right now, but does anyone know why the printer would all of a sudden print a big blob or plastic instead of a model?
I am fairly new to the printing and last night I tried a print and all it did was print a mess. I ran the print through slic3r and then loaded it to the printer. I have a DaVinci 1.0a model and I am using their filament. I have not had any other problems printing models that I have run through slic3r. This past weekend, I printed about 10 models through their for calibration and I got everything working the way I liked it so I thought I would try a new model from Thingiverse. My extruder is set at 220 and I was printing at .2.
I will try and upload some pictures tonight, but it was basically turned out to be a big pile of plastic. One thing I have noticed on some of my prints lately is that there are some burns marks on the plastic. Does that indicate that the ABS is not good? I have heard the XYZ ABS is not the best. I have a resetter, but I have not bought additional ABS to try yet.
Thanks for the help!
Ryan
