Topic: Stupid question- where is the code input line in Repetier Host V1.0.6?

So I finally updated repetier and now I can't find where to enter my M code/ G code commands.  This is probably really simple but I looked all over.  Does anyone know where I can find this?  Also, where is the log?  It used to drag up from the bottom now I don't see it at all.  Thanks and don't laugh at me haha.

Picture below.  Left side is mine with no code input.  Right side is what the documentation from the repetier website shows.  Someone tell me there is any easy check box somewhere and I'm not going insane.  Thanks

No, I mean how to enter manual g code commands, totally different.

I updated a few months ago, and it took me some time to get used to the new layout.
My log is still found at the bottom. Upon slicing, you have to click on Preview, then the second tab of gCode editor to view the sliced code. To give commands, you just type them into the Manual section and everything will pop up below.

I hope I understood what you meant. smile

You're in Easy Mode.  The Easy Mode toggle mode button is just above, next to the Printer settings button

To print or, 3D print, that is the question...

Bumping this because I am just now getting back to fixing my mini kossel... where is the damn output log?  It is not within the G code area and I can't find it at all!  Really feeling dumb again...

In the older versions if repetier, you could just drag up a window from the bottom of the screen to see communications with your printer is real time.  Is that really gone?  Thanks.

I'm having the same issue... I can't find the output log in Repetier to verify everything is communicating properly.

You have to click "toggle log" in the top panel of buttons.  You can no longer drag it up to expand the log.
